Special Education.

1) How is special education different from general education?
  • General education is the standard curriculum presented without special teaching method or support.
  • Special education on the other hand is a type of education given to children with special needs, involving planning, systematic monitored teaching method, with the help of teaching aides, materials, good environment and other interventions to achieve the desired goal. These structured methods are beneficial for children with learning disability, communication disability, emotional and behavioral disorder, physical disability, developmental delay and intellectual giftedness.
